Tuesdays With Morrie
In sociology class this week we watched a touching movie called Tuesdays With Morrie. It was a great movie about how the main character Mitch was so caught up in making money and doing what a typical person would want instead of making sure he is happy. Being happy should be what you want, not making a lot of money or being with others just because. Happiness is greater than materials. Some people only become doctors or lawyers just because they want to make money, not because they want to be them, only to make money. Morrie was Mitch's old sociology teacher and was his favorite and when he found out Morrie was dying he decided to pay him a visit he could never fulfill. When he was reunited with Morrie, he helped Mitch realize what was more important in life and to never take anything for granted. I agree with everything Morrie said in the movie about his lessons and being happy. There is no point in wasting time on things that do not make you happy when you should be making the best of your life when you never know how much time you will have.
